If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. If you sign up with email we store a hashed password, never the password itself. - **Photos you upload:** the three photos you add to make a video. They show people, so they are personal data; treat them that way and only upload photos you are allowed to use. - **Generated videos:** the video made from your photos, and the settings you chose (quality, format). - **Purchases and credits:** which pack you bought, the amount, your credit balance and how credits were used or refunded. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and never reach our servers. - **Usage and device data:** pages visited, clicks, approximate location from your IP address, browser and device type, collected through analytics cookies (see section 6) and our hosting provider's request logs. - **Messages:** what you send us by email. ## 2\. The provider's own retention rules apply to the copies it holds; according to its published policy, uploaded files and generated videos are deleted automatically within a few days to two weeks. - Finished videos are stored privately in your account for **30 days** (Single Video pack) or **1 year** (Creator or Studio pack), depending on the largest credit pack you have bought, counted from when each video was made. Stripe processes your payment details under [its own privacy policy](https://stripe.com/privacy). - **Google**: sign in with Google, and Google Analytics. - **Microsoft**: Microsoft Clarity analytics. We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public. ## 5\. International transfers Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, such transfers rely on the safeguards our providers make available, such as standard contractual clauses. ## 6\. Cookies and analytics - **Necessary cookies** keep you signed in and protect your session. If you do not agree, do not use the service. ## 1\. Who can use it You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a binding agreement. The service Gas Station Dance generates a 15-second AI video in the style of the "gas station dance" trend from three photos you upload. The video is AI-generated and is not real footage. Results depend on the photos and on the AI model; a likeness is not guaranteed. Gas Station Dance is not affiliated with TikTok, YouTube, the creators of the original video or the owners of the song used in the trend. We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the service at any time. ## 3\. Credits and payment - Videos are paid with credits, bought in one-time packs. There is no subscription. A 720P Standard video uses 100 credits and a 1080P Pro video 150 credits. - Prices are shown in US dollars and charged by Stripe, our payment provider. Taxes may be added where they apply. - Credits **do not expire**. They stay in your account until you use them or delete your account. - Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold and are not refundable except under our [Refund Policy](https://gasstationdance.app/refund-policy). - If a video fails, its credits are returned automatically. ## 4\. Your photos You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You confirm that you took them or have the right to use them, and that **every person shown has agreed** to appear in an AI video. You give us a limited licence to store and process the photos, and to send them to our video provider, only to make your video. Your videos You may download your videos and post them on your own social media and websites, including channels where you earn money. You are responsible for how you use them and for following the rules of the platforms you post on, including labelling AI-generated content. Videos are stored in your account for **30 days or 1 year**, based on the largest pack you have bought, and are then no longer accessible. Any reminder we send is a courtesy; download the videos you want to keep. ## 6\. What you must not do - Upload photos of anyone who has not agreed, including celebrities, public figures and private people. - Upload photos of anyone under 18. - Make sexual, violent, hateful or otherwise unlawful content, or use a video to harass, defame, deceive or impersonate anyone. - Present a video as real footage in a way meant to mislead, including for fraud, scams or political manipulation. - Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights. - Attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or try to get around credits or limits. We may refuse a generation, delete content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Credits of accounts closed for abuse are not refunded. ## 7\. Our content The site, its design, text, templates and example videos belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy them except as these terms allow. The original trend video and the YouTube videos we link to belong to their creators. ## 8\. Ending your account You can delete your account at any time in your account settings. Deletion is permanent: your videos and unused credits are removed and cannot be recovered or refunded. We may close accounts that break these terms. ## 9\. Disclaimers The service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the results, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Last updated: October 6, 2026 ## Failed videos: credits back automatically If a video fails to generate or is not delivered, the credits it used are returned to your account automatically. You do not need to contact us. ## Unused credit packs: money back within 7 days If you have **not used any credits** from a pack, you can ask for a full refund within **7 days of purchase**. Email [support@gasstationdance.app](mailto:support@gasstationdance.app) from the email address on your account and tell us which purchase it is. When the refund is made, the credits from that pack are removed from your account. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. When you use credits to start a video, you ask us to start providing the digital service immediately and you lose the right of withdrawal for the credits you use. Unused packs can be refunded within those 14 days. ## What is not refunded - **Credits used for a video that finished.** The generation cost has already been paid to our video provider. If a video file is technically defective (for example it will not play), write to us and we may, at our discretion, restore the credits. - **Packs where some credits were used**, except as required by law. ## How refunds are paid Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. How long they take to appear depends on your bank and card issuer. We do not refund in cash or to another account. ## Chargebacks Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank; most problems are solved quickly by email.
